Ford — Vehicle rollaway risk (Recall 26V402)
Affected vehicles: 2018–2021 Ford Expedition, 2020–2021 Ford Explorer, 2021 Ford F-150, and certain Lincoln models
Risk: A transmission park system defect can allow affected vehicles to roll away after the driver shifts into Park and exits. A rolling vehicle can cause serious injury to pedestrians or damage to property.
What to do: Apply the parking brake every time you park until the dealer repair is completed. Contact your Ford dealer immediately to schedule a free repair.
Jeep Wrangler & Gladiator — Fire hazard even when off (Recall 26V363)
Affected vehicles: Approximately 1,076,999 Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator vehicles
Risk: A faulty electrical connection in the power steering pump wiring can cause nearby combustible material to overheat and catch fire — even when the vehicle is turned off. NHTSA has confirmed 51 fires and one injury linked to this defect.
What to do: NHTSA recommends parking outside and away from structures and other vehicles until the repair is completed. Contact your Jeep dealer immediately. Do not park in a garage until this recall is fixed.
Cadillac VISTIQ — Third-row seat entrapment (Recall 26V394)
Affected vehicles: 2026–2027 Cadillac VISTIQ
Risk: A hardware defect in the third-row power-folding seatback mechanism can fail or lock improperly, potentially trapping a passenger in the rear cabin.
What to do: Avoid using the third-row seats until the dealer repair is completed. Contact your Cadillac dealer to schedule a free repair.
Ford Bronco — Detaching fender flares (Recall 26V403)
Affected vehicles: 2022–2026 Ford Bronco
Risk: Exterior fender flares may not have been properly secured during assembly and can detach at highway speeds, becoming dangerous projectiles for following traffic.
What to do: Contact your Ford dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.
Nissan Sentra — Driveshaft failure (Recall 26V410)
Affected vehicles: 2025 Nissan Sentra
Risk: An incorrectly installed driveshaft assembly can slip or lose structural integrity, causing a sudden loss of propulsion while driving.
What to do: Contact your Nissan dealer immediately to schedule a free repair.
Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS — Seat belt bolt torque (Recall 26V353)
Affected vehicles: Certain 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS models
Risk: Rear seat belt bolts may not have been torqued to specification during assembly, reducing the effectiveness of the rear seat belts in a crash.
What to do: Contact your Mercedes-Benz dealer to schedule a free inspection and repair.
Kia Telluride — Driver seat belt reach (Recall 26V356)
Affected vehicles: 2027 Kia Telluride and Telluride Hybrid
Risk: The driver seat belt may not extend far enough to allow easy buckling, increasing the risk of the driver not fastening the belt properly.
What to do: Contact your Kia dealer. Notification letters are expected to go out July 24, 2026.
